What Does the Potter's Hands Do?
The Potter's Hands is a ministry of The Chapel specifically centered around meeting the tangible needs of families in WNY. Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus by shining Christ's love and compassion on our community.
Donate Furniture
We thank you for your generosity and heart for service. By donating your gently used furniture, you help us share Christ’s love and bring dignity and hope to families in need. Because many of the families we serve live in smaller apartments, we are unable to accept larger items such as armoires, entertainment centers, sectional sofas, large buffets, or king-size beds.

Volunteer
Whether you're moving furniture, making a call, welcoming a family, or praying with someone, every volunteer plays a part in helping share the love of Christ in a tangible way.
Delivery Teams: Deliver donated household items directly to families in need.
Donation Pick-up Teams: Pick up gently used furniture from donors so that it can bless another family.
Warehouse Volunteers: Receive, organize, and prepare furniture while welcoming, encouraging, and praying for families.
Administrative Volunteers: Help behind the scenes by scheduling donation pick-ups, and coordinating warehouse appointments with families.

Request Furniture
Because of a backlog of delivery requests, The Potter's Hands is currently only accepting pick-up requests. A pick-up request means clients may come to the warehouse, select items, and take their furniture with them at that time. While our team is unable to provide delivery services at this time, we hope to resume within the next 5-7 weeks.
